The third annual Good Living Expo is scheduled for February 5-6, 2021 at the Overland Park Convention Center. This is Kansas City’s largest healthy living event and while hosting an event during a pandemic is not ideal, owner Aimee Jacobson shares her thoughts on gathering during the COVID-19 crisis. “Of course, the timing of this event is not what we hoped for. We seriously considered canceling the event or postponing it but weighed all our options and considered the risks vs. benefits of the event and decided moving forward with a safe event was the right decision to support our vendors and the Kansas City community. 2020 was a challenging year for so many people in our community and nation. Small businesses continue to struggle and/or close their doors, and individuals and families are finding it challenging to stay healthy and fit both physically and mentally during this difficult time. We want to help and plan to connect event goers with local, small businesses who focus on a healthy lifestyle and know that 2021 brings hope with a vaccine and better days ahead. Those who still don’t feel safe, we completely understand and respect your decision to stay at home, and we hope you will learn about our vendors and support them through our website goodlivingexpo.com. We will have a full list of vendors and sponsors, featured vendor products and hope to stream some of our health and wellness seminars. For those who don’t make it this year, we look forward to seeing them in 2021 and for those who feel comfortable, we can’t wait to see you at our two-day event in February.”

The 2021 Good Living Expo will feature 150 vendors ranging from fitness centers, nutritional products, health providers, healthy food and drinks, health & wellness services and products and much more. Fitness class demonstrations and small group seminars will take place throughout the event to educate event goers on many topics and motivate them to get moving in 2021. This year we will have limited kid’s activities due to social distancing but the event is family friendly and we encourage families to join us to learn more about how to live healthier and happier.

The event will look and feel a bit different this year in order to comply with CDC and local safety guidelines. Masks of course are required for everyone in attendance, aisles will be wider, booths spread out, sanitizing stations throughout and contactless entry with free admission this year to avoid money and ticket exchange. Come and go as you please and feel comfortable knowing the Good Living Expo will take every precaution to keep everyone safe.

We encourage our guests to visit our website and Facebook page prior to the event for a full list of vendors, seminars, classes, contests and safety details.
